| The museum was established as a 1987 Bonitafest event and was originally located in a storefront along Bonita Road. Through the generosity of the Bonita-Sunnyside Fire Protection District the Bonita Museum and Cultural Center is now located in the old fire house.
Exhibits are continually changing to enrich the cultural and historical experience of the community residents and visitors to the area. Receptions are held periodically to introduce the new exhibits. FREE ADMISSION!

| OnStage Playhouse is the only live community theatre in Chula Vista. We operate year round, producing six or more superior plays per year. OnStage has an intimate theater seating 60 playgoers, located near 3rd and F in downtown Chula Vista.
In 1999, OnStage moved to a new location, just a block away from the space we occupied for 13 years. August 6, 1999 was the date of our first performance in our new venue. The lobby of our new theater is shared with Chula Vista Art Guild, who maintain a gallery there. The lobby also serves as an office for Chula Vista Friends of the Arts.
