The UCCA provides and promotes civic, cultural, social, educational, and recreational opportunities for residents and is a voice of the community. We hope you are enjoying the new banners on Governor, Regents, and Genesee. Thanks to the generosity of $10,000.00 from International City Bank President Jane Netherton and $1,000.00 from the U.C. Recreation Council and a matching grant of $1,000.00, the banners are promoting our theme, "University City is more than a neighborhood."

Post 460 is a community service organization that is focused on serving Veterans and their families. The Post and Auxiliary Unit work closely together to regularly visit Veterans Homes and the VA Hospital. We provide food, clothing, toiletries and run Bingo and other games for their entertainment. We participate in the annual Stand Down each summer which focuses on Homeless Veterans and their families. Above all, the most important thing we do is to let them know we appreciate their service and they are not forgotten.
