At Phoenix House Descanso teenage boys and girls learn honesty, responsiblitity, and how to live without drugs. The academic program allows them to make up ost school work and master essential skills. Therapy and education are inseparable, counselors and teachers work together to sustain a supportive environment for growth. An optimal setting for growth and learning, this residential high school for adolescents occupies a former ranch in the mountains of San Diego County. Phoenix House Academy accepts adolescents aged 13 thru 17 with substance abuse problems. |
