Grossmont Union High School District, Grossmont Adult Schools, and the East County Career Center in partnership with the El Cajon Collaborative provide workforce development services to youth between the ages of 16-21 who meet Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligibility criteria established by the Department of Labor. Services include but are not limited to the following: Completion of High School Diploma or GED, career assessment, work readiness and life skills training, job shadow, work experience/internship opportunities, leadership and community service, mentoring, tutoring supportive services to assist with successful completion of academics, advanced career training, and/or employment. Services may be long term and include intensive case management support.
